Our 500,000 gallon swimming pool is divided into two parts. The lap side of the pool has 11 lanes 25 yards in length (8 starting blocks for meets). This side of the pool begins with a depth of 4'10" and drops to 9'. The recreation side of the pool is also 25 yards in length and begins with a depth of 3' and slopes down to 4'10".

Pool Features
- Lifeguards are certified by the American Red Cross and attend regular training sessions
- Pool temperature is kept between 81 and 83 degrees, the recommended standard for multi-use pools like ours
- The pool is ADA compliant
- A sun deck with chairs is located next to the pool
- The shallow end has an underwater seating area for lessons or for relaxing
- You would have to swim 35 laps (down & back) to swim a mile
Pool Rules
- A proper swimming suit must be worn while in the pool
- Gum must be deposited in the trash cans before entering the water
- Band-aids are not allowed in the pool
- Inflatable devices are not allowed. All flotation devices must display US Coast Guard approval statement and number
- Glass containers are not allowed
- No running on deck
- No pushing, shoving, or excessive horseplay
- No diving into the shallow area of the pool
- No hanging on lane ropes or rails
- Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- Children who cannot swim must wear a lifejacket and must always be within an arm's reach of the parent / supervisor
- Backward dives and flips are not allowed
- Horseback rides and standing on shoulders are not permitted
- Spitting is not allowed
- Listen to the lifeguards at all times, they are there to help you
